Northwestern School Corporation will be in session on our make-up day, Presidents’ Day, February 19. By utilizing this day, Northwestern School Corporation has the opportunity to cancel school on Eclipse Day, April 8. We believe that it is in our students best interest to be in school on 2/19 and allow families the opportunity to view the eclipse on 4/8 locally or travel to a better viewing location.

From Mr. Snyder:
Please congratulate any members of the marching band... they had an outstanding weekend.
We traveled to FW Homestead High School for the ISSMA Open Class Invitational. The kids earned a Gold rating, and also earned Distinction awards in Music, Visual, and General Effect.
They also won the overall competition outright! It was an exciting day and a greatly improved performance over the previous weekend. There were a bevy of other State Finals contending band there that we finished ahead of, including Concordia Lutheran, Leo, Angola, Norwell, and Maconaquah... also note how much bigger of schools those all are than Northwestern.
We are proud of the kids and their work ethic and performance!

Our MS girls Criss Country Team finished 1st at the Tipton multi-team meet tonight.
