TRANSFER APPLICATION

FOR OUT OF DISTRICT STUDENTS

Transfer applications will be open for the 2024-2025 school year on February 5th through April 5th. Applications will be approved at the April 11th Board Meeting.

Enrollment approval/denial will be emailed no later than May 1, 2024. Approved student applications remain in a pending status until receipt of school records, confirming your student is in good standing at their current school.

What you need before starting the application process:

  • Birth Certificate

  • 2 Proofs of Residency

    • Valid Drivers License

    • Utility Bill (in a parent/guardian's name)

    • Mortgage Statement

    • Renters Agreement

  • Vaccination Records

    • Obtain from Health Department, current school, or doctors office.

  • If Applicable, custody/guardianship paperwork

Volunteer Background Check

Please allow at least two weeks for a background check to process. Not completing all steps will prevent a background check from processing in a timely matter. Background checks are valid for 5 years.

TRANSPORTATION

Bus

Out of District Transportation

Out of district transportation services are provided for K-12 students in the following subdivisions:

  • Dixon Place

  • Frederick Farms

  • Sycamore Village

  • Western Woods

  • Wynterbrooke

Out of district bus stops for middle and high school students are provided at the following locations:

  • First Christian Church - 854 N. 300 W.

  • Northwestern Educational Service Center - 3075 N. Washington Street

  • Complete for out of district students turning 5 on or before August 1st.
